Sonata para a Mulher Azul
Synopsis: The "Mulher Azul" (blue woman) is the woman who crosses the timeline between generations of women in my maternal family. It is the woman who is born from clay, in northeastern's arid soil, and who continuously resists adversity.
Much like powerful pollens, she sales through streams and rivers, breezes and gales and then flows into the sea. A brine of affections.

DESBAILE
2013 - São Paulo, Brazil
PERFORMANCE DESBAILE III
DEBAILE is a performance created as an attempt to "undress" one's own body. A possibility to resignify both physical and gestural marks, or even memories of classical ballet lingers on the performer's body.
A dance is created as a way of looking, revisiting, transforming, honouring and deconstructing, in performance, this classical ballet body that has been a technical instructor for movement, as well as a place of emotional and physical trauma for the artist.
In a keen look inside herself, the performer experiences the traces left by the classical dance on her body. Light or shadow, everything is valid in this performance, as a kind of permission the artist gives herself to contemplate, express, let go, witness and perhaps even delight herself in the ballerina's pointe shoes.
